Role Overview:

eHealth is hiring a Manager, Benefit Advisor who will develop and lead a Medicare Sales Team. This position is responsible for exceeding inbound sales goals and KPIs while maintaining the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will be someone who has a proven track record of leading, developing, and managing sales leaders and executing a team’s plan to meet or exceed sales targets.

The Manager, Benefit Advisor, will be helping develop and grow the Medicare Sales Team. This leadership position will be responsible for effectively leading, developing, and coaching employees (both benefit advisors and supervisors). They will be responsible for exceeding all sales metrics while maintaining the highest quality standards.

What you'll do:

  • Leads and develops front-line sales supervisors by demonstrating a commitment to effective coaching and fostering a positive sales culture.
  • Contributes to and assists in documenting comprehensive sales plans designed to exceed goals and objectives for growth in membership. 
  • Participates in the development of departmental and individual sales goals and objectives. 
  • Works to develop innovative strategies that are aligned with the focus of building a strong sales and learning culture.
  • Recruits, hires, trains, leads, and motivates a sales organization (both sales agents and supervisors) to exceed both sales objectives and customer expectations for individual sales. 
  • Analyze, execute, and report on sales plan and sales/account service process activity and results as scheduled and required. 
  • Cross-functional collaboration across the organization to align delivery in support of the overall customer experience.
  • Demonstrate eHealth’s values in your behaviors, practices, and decisions.

Who you are:

  • You have experience within a managed care organization, health insurance carrier, third party administrator or related industry is a plus. 
  • You have a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ Supervisory experience.
  • You have a proven track record of meeting individual and team sales goals.
  • You have a deep understanding of Medicare sales.

The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes a monthly commission-based incentive plan, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness.

Annual Commission Target -$50,000
