Manager/Associate Director - Project Manager(Financial Services)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Data Engineering to lead and deliver large-scale data transformation and migration initiatives across Talend, Databricks, and cloud data ecosystems. The role demands a strong blend of technical depth and project delivery leadership, working closely with onshore and offshore teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery across complex data programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data migration and analytics projects across Talend and Databricks ecosystems.
• Manage a hybrid team of data engineers, modelers, architects, and data quality/security specialists across global locations.
• Oversee project planning, execution, and governance, ensuring milestones and SLAs are met.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders for requirement alignment, risk management, and delivery assurance.
• Drive implementation of data pipelines for ingestion, enrichment, and integration, managing data layers, load strategies, ETL performance, and data security.
• Ensure robust data quality, masking, auditing, and compliance controls are in place.
• Produce clear project documentation, communication plans, and reporting for leadership visibility.

• 7+ years of experience in project management with exposure to data engineering and cloud ecosystems (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Proven experience managing onshore-offshore delivery teams across functional roles.
• Strong technical understanding of Databricks, data pipeline orchestration, and ETL frameworks.
• Hands-on experience or working knowledge of Talend preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, resource planning, and delivery governance.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
