CLA is currently seeking a Manager of Application Developer to join our growing internal IT team.

The Manager of Application Development's essential job functions will be:

participating in planning, design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications and services.  You will lead a team of software developers, setting goals and deadlines, ensuring quality standards, and communicating with stakeholders. This individual will be a self-starter and drive software development product development efforts are completed with predictably high quality and on-time success. 

Essential Job Functions

• Project Execution: Leads one or more teams of software developers ensuring enforcement of standards, high=quality output, and on-time success.  Collaborates with business and other technical teams to roadmap strategic initiatives and execute software development projects to meet requirements.  Monitor progress and resolve conflicts that impact the project objectives, expectations, or deliverables.

• Products and Services: Own all technical aspects of the products and services your team creates.  Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, and success milestones. Be the technical representative for the capabilities, ensuring high quality support, and influencing and guiding future improvements.

• Technical: Provide technical guidance and feedback to the development team. Understand and champion Agile and DevOps principles with your leading of the development teams. Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance. Research and implement new technologies, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness of software development.

Requirements

  • 10 + years of experience in software development, in a leadership or management role.
  • Experience with Microservices & DevOps

This position requires <10% travel
