  • Support the rollout and optimization of the company’s new purchase order system, Zip, including related automation and process improvements across accounts payable and accrual workflows
  • Lead the accounting for payroll, including review of US and international payroll journal entries, bonus accruals, and related balance sheet reconciliations in partnership with Payroll and FP&A
  • Manage and refine the monthly accrual process across operating expenses, ensuring completeness and accuracy through close coordination with business stakeholders
  • Perform and review account-level analytics across income statement and balance sheet accounts to identify trends, variances, and potential risks
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to research accounting matters, analyze financial results, and communicate insights clearly and effectively
  • Support the successful completion of the year-end audit by preparing analyses, maintaining documentation, and partnering with external auditors
  • Identify opportunities to modernize accounting operations through process improvements, automation, and practical applications of AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency, reporting accuracy, and scalability
  • Manage and develop the AP team and accounting contractor by providing coaching, process guidance, and opportunities for professional growth
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Payroll, Tax, Legal, and Procurement to ensure alignment on processes
  • Identify and communicate accounting risks, operational issues, and process gaps across areas of responsibility

Your Expertise

  • 7+ years of accounting experience
  • 2-3 years of people management experience
