The Health and Civil group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Management Analyst to join our team and provide expert advisory support to our project manager to ensure the systems meet existing and future requirements based on business needs and regulations. This role will primarily focus on leading the development of business requirements, working collaboratively with the IRS Business organizations. This person will be responsible for the analysis and evaluation of user business problems and the development of system requirements and recommendations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilitating business requirements sessions with customers, SAFe Agile methodologies, coupled with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Management Analyst
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the analysis and evaluation of user business problems and the development of system requirements
- Analyze current and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.
- Duties include coordinating with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, execution of user acceptance, and may coordinate testing and system controls.
- Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on enterprise case management solutions and products, offering insights and recommendations to stakeholders as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of all business requirements.
- Guide the teams in thinking through how to improve our delivery architecture, evaluate new capabilities, and optimize integrations between existing services
- Applying techniques appropriate for projects using agile/iterative methodologies, including user story management
- Coordinate with the IT executive customer across all disciplines related to business requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS and 10 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 8 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience presenting and communicating to teams, executives, and clients, including briefings, and team-based discussions.
- Experience working with business teams to elicit business requirements
- Knowledge of SAFe Agile delivery practices
- Ability to synthesize content and distill into key requirements that will resonate with senior business leaders
- Demonstrated effective communication skills at senior levels within corporate and customer organizations
- Experience meeting with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items, and effectively execute in accordance with approved plans
- Experience in the practice of SAFe Agile methodology
- U.S. Citizenship or is a lawful permanent resident having been granted the right to live in the United States indefinitely
- Proximity to work primarily onsite with the customer at the New Carrollton Federal Building, secondarily at Leidos HQ in Reston and remotely within one to two hours driving distance of the customer
- Proven experience in management analysis or a similar role, preferably within the IT or software development industry
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to obtain a Minimum Background Investigation
- This offer is contingent upon Leidos being awarded a subcontract under which the work will be performed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience managing programs or projects in a Dept. of Treasury environment
- Experience working with Case Management Systems and Pega solutions
- Certification in SAFe Agile methodology
- Active IRS MBI

Pay Range:Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
