What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
  • Take responsibility for individual contributions to achieve team deliverables, working effectively as a team member and coordinating with others.

  • Identify and solve moderately routine problems.

  • Prepare and operate various components, materials, equipment, and machines in your assigned area, ensuring adequate inventory of parts and materials before starting a production run.
  • Adhere strictly to all plant safety and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) regulations.
  • Perform in-process quality inspections, and seek to implement process and safety improvements.

ROLE SUMMARY
Responsible for the preparation and/or operation of various components, materials, equipment, machines including, but not limited to: any and/or all applicable components, materials, equipment, machines in the assigned area(s). While performing all tasks in a safe manner.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES • Maintain proper documentation - batch records, check sheets, logbooks.• Perform fill room setup and perform room and equipment sanitation, including work over head.• Ensures environmental excursions are kept at an acceptable level.• Stay current with training requirements and follow SOPs, cGMPs, batch records, TCPs, BOMs and POPs.• Communicates openly and clearly with line personnel and supervision to accomplish manufacturing goals.• Promote a positive team environment.• Notifies Group Leader/Supervisor of all safety issues.
QUALIFICATIONS • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)• A minimum 1 year of prior work experience in a pharmaceutical, manufacturing and/or industrial type environment • Must be able to make minor mechanical machine adjustments.• Must be able to communicate and work well interdepartmentally, as well as, with all plant departments.• Must be able to read and write, as well as follow written and oral instructions.• Must be capable of performing data entry into calculators and computers.• Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and have a problem-solving mindset.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to lift 10-20 lbs. frequently and up to 45 lbs. sporadically, including lifting above shoulders.• Must be able to withstand exposure to inks, solvents, heat, steam and liquids.• Walk and stand for up to 8 to 12 hours depending on assigned area.• Vision must be correctable to 20/20.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
• Able to work rotating shifts, holidays, nights and weekends as required• Must be able to gown aseptically and retain certification.
Work Location Assignment: On Premise
6 am to 6pm
The salary for this position ranges from $18.62 to $31.03 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company's policies.
