Leidos has an opportunity within the newly created Digital Modernization Practice Area, leading Low Code / No Code (LC/NC) Platform Engineering for ServiceNow, Salesforce, and other LC/NC platforms within the Repeatable Offerings (RO) organization. The RO organization is the delivery arm of the Digital Modernization sector’s Repeatable Offerings, delivering differentiated capabilities and managed services across the sector and the larger Leidos corporation.

This opportunity supports enterprise IT transformation efforts, leading the development and implementation of low-code and no-code solutions within our Repeatable Offerings business practice, focusing on ServiceNow and Salesforce. This role will manage a team of ServiceNow and Salesforce subject matter experts, developers, and business analysts, ensuring rapid application development, process automation, and enterprise integration. The ideal candidate will have Service Delivery experience in the federal space, a strong background in low-code/no-code platforms, and demonstrated leadership in managing teams and projects. The role is delivery-focused, and provides engineering management and technical leadership for deploying and managing LC/NC platforms and solutions. The position requires the ability to strategically lead platform adoption, define necessary skills, support organizational changes, establish engineering processes, and drive innovative IT service management (ITSM) solutions.

The LC/NC Platform Senior Manager will collaborate with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Solution Architects, Service Delivery Managers, Security teams, and other stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient cloud operations. This role will also play a critical part in aligning business priorities with cutting-edge technologies, including AI/ML, cybersecurity, data analytics, automation, and digital transformation strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of ServiceNow and Salesforce SMEs, developers, analysts, and citizen developers, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
  • Support and align with the corporate low-code/no-code strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, driving digital modernization and process automation.
  • Oversee the adoption, administration, and optimization of low-code/no-code platforms, including ServiceNow, Salesforce, Microsoft Power Platform, OutSystems, Mendix, and Appian.
  • Deliver repeatable offerings that maximize efficiency, scalability, and automation across multiple projects.
  • Guide teams in designing, developing, and deploying applications using low-code/no-code technologies, ensuring scalability, security, and usability.
  • Lead initiatives to automate business processes and integrate solutions with enterprise applications and workflows.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency through best practices in enterprise architecture, APIs, and workflow automation.
  • Ensure the successful service delivery of projects, meeting technical, contractual, and business objectives.
  • Act as a key liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and customers to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with federal clients and internal teams to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
  • Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of deployed solutions, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  • Lead a team of experienced professionals, ensuring high-quality execution of projects.
  • Oversee hiring, team growth, and professional development initiatives.
  • Establish best practices, governance frameworks, and security controls to ensure compliance, scalability, and maintainability of low-code applications.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS and 8+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience. Additional years experience are accepted in lieu of degree.
  • 4+ years of experience leading teams and projects in low-code/no-code development or automation initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development (not expert level but proficient in key functionalities).
  • Strong service delivery background with experience leading federal projects.
  • Experience managing teams of developers, analysts, and subject matter experts.
  • Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, OutSystems, Mendix, Appian, ServiceNow, Salesforce).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, integrations, and workflow automation using APIs and connectors.
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies in a low-code environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to drive cloud strategy and execution.
  • Strong leadership and people management abilities with experience mentoring and transforming engineering teams.
  • Effective stakeholder communication and engagement skills, including the ability to present cloud strategies to senior leadership.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and up to a Secret clearance depending on customer requirements. 
  • Must be able to travel to Reston, VA or Blacksburg, VA as needed up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Certified Power Platform Developer, OutSystems Professional Developer, Appian Certified Developer, ServiceNow Admin/Developer).
  • Experience with AI-powered automation and RPA (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate).
  • Knowledge of governance and security best practices for low-code development.
  • Experience in leading citizen development initiatives and change management.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and modern enterprise IT environment
  • Experience with large-scale IT infrastructure programs, including government or defense environments.
  • Experience building and transforming teams to support LC/NC solutions.
  • Strong understanding of IT project management, Agile methodologies, and ITIL frameworks.
  • Experience working with classified or highly regulated environments.

Pay Range:Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
