About the role

We are looking for a forward-thinking Low-Code Automation Engineer with strong AI skills to join our Marketing department at Ruby Labs. This full-time role will be instrumental in transforming how our marketing team operates by reducing manual work and increasing creative and operational output through automation and artificial intelligence.

You’ll work closely with marketers, designers, and strategists to identify bottlenecks and build low-code systems that automate content creation, data workflows, campaign deployment, and more. Your AI knowledge, particularly around prompt engineering, will help unlock smarter, faster, and more scalable solutions across social media, email marketing, video creation, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Automation Development: Build and maintain low-code automations (e.g., with n8n or similar) that streamline repetitive tasks in marketing workflows. From generating content to uploading assets to tracking performance.

  • AI Integration: Design and deploy smart automations that combine low-code tools with AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini, Manus AI, etc.) to generate text, images, videos, social media posts, emails, and more.

  • Prompt Engineering: Craft effective and optimized AI prompts to ensure the highest quality outputs from generative AI tools across various marketing functions.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team (creative, social, email, data) to understand pain points, propose automation opportunities, and implement solutions.

  • Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in content production, reporting, and campaign execution, and build systems that eliminate manual inputs and enhance scalability.

  • Scalable Innovation: Lead initiatives that unlock new levels of scale and efficiency, helping Ruby Labs maintain a competitive edge in speed and output.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in automation engineering or a similar technical role, ideally in a fast-paced marketing, content, or tech environment.

  • Low-Code Mastery: Proficient with n8n, with a proven track record in implementing effective automation solutions in a marketing environment.

  • AI Fluency: Strong familiarity with AI tools and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Manus AI), with experience in designing prompts for high-quality content generation.

  • API Proficiency: Comfortable integrating APIs and building workflows that connect various marketing tools and databases.

  • Marketing Awareness: Understanding of digital marketing workflows and content creation pipelines.

  • Independent & Proactive: Able to take ownership, move quickly, and build MVPs that are both functional and scalable.

Location

Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
