How Will You Make an Impact?

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting logistics systems, freight coordination, and customs processes. You will serve as the primary functional expert on logistics tools and procedures, ensuring operational excellence across inbound and outbound shipments. Your focus on training, troubleshooting, compliance, and vendor coordination will help ensure timely deliveries and smooth supply chain execution across the organization.

What Will You Do?

Logistics Operations & Systems Support

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for logistics systems and tools.

  • Provide functional support and troubleshooting assistance to users across departments.

  • Coordinate training sessions for new hires, upgrades, and system enhancements.

  • Monitor logistics-related tools and processes to ensure alignment with operational needs.

  • Support daily inbound and outbound shipment execution, including issue resolution and carrier communication.

  • Provide nightly support for delayed shipments and urgent logistics challenges.

  • Approve service levels for international carriers based on lead times and buyer requirements.

Process Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate and monitor existing logistics processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements and process updates.

  • Document business processes, standard work instructions, and policies.

  • Track and communicate updates or changes to planning and logistics systems.

  • Assist in testing and validating new functionality prior to rollout.

Customs & Compliance Support

  • Review commercial invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance for customs clearance.

  • Coordinate with customs brokers to resolve clearance issues in a timely manner.

  • Ensure proper application and documentation of HTS codes and GTS classifications.

Freight Billing, Audit & Reporting

  • Approve inbound and outbound freight invoices for accuracy across the Florida campus.

  • Allocate freight charges at month-end for reporting and cost tracking.

  • Support audit processes and assist in freight billing dispute resolution as needed.

How Will You Get Here?

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of logistics or supply chain experience.

  • Certification from a professional logistics or supply chain organization (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation processes, including international shipping and customs.

  • Hands-on experience with logistics systems, ERP tools, or freight audit platforms.

  • Ability to train others, document procedures, and communicate system enhancements.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond quickly to operational issues.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Attention to detail in billing, documentation, and compliance activities.

  • Knowledge of HTS/GTS classifications and customs clearance processes is a plus.

The pay range for this role is $79,400 - $143,000. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: June 10, 2025.

As part of the total rewards package, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive based on performance. In addition, Jabil offers benefits to enhance your health, wealth, and resilient self.
