You enjoy working with globally dispersed teams to plan, execute and deliver localized content across multiple initiatives.What You Will Do:
- Support localization project management queue, including grooming requests from internal stakeholders, identifying, and bridging gaps, tracking deadlines, and driving projects to completion
- Support go-to-market plans for products launching globally in partnership with with product marketing team and go-to-market program manager
- Collaborate with internal customers and external agencies to ensure clear communication and status throughout product GTM life cycle, as well as execution to established SLAs
- Forecast in-market review cycles, review volumes and drive awareness on overall timeline
- Own translation quality, and manage linguistic assets (glossaries, style guides, etc,); ensure localization of core global brand and creative is accurate
- Actively engage with internal stakeholders to educate them on localization methodologies and best options for their needs
- Perform cultural consultations for new content, creatives, and design executions to tailor assets to local needs
- Serve as a first point of escalation for in-market teams, tasks with addressing concerns & troubleshooting issues
- Track project finances, call out cross-project dependencies and prevent risks
- Track root cause analysis of issues and set preventative actions in place
- Manage file upload and release on Digital Asset Management System
To Be Successful You Will Have:
- 1-2 years of project management experience in localization
- Bachelor’s in Localization, Education, Project Management, Linguistics, or related field is preferred
- Experience with various project types, from simple short (24h turnaround) to complex projects that span over months
- Experience working with multimedia, software and creative localization, including advertising
- Proficiency in localization technologies, tools, and workflows
Skills:
- A consistent "can do" attitude and ability to act quickly to rally individuals and teams around a common vision
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Ability to work cross-functionally with different teams, manage competing priorities and make fast decisions
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with project management tools (Trello, Smartsheet, etc)
