One of our client firms is currently seeking an experienced Litigation Assistant to join their team. This position is open exclusively to international candidates with prior litigation support experience.
- Assist attorneys with the day-to-day management of personal injury litigation cases.
- Draft, prepare, and format pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- File legal documents with state and federal courts, including electronic filing where applicable.
- Maintain and organize electronic case files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up to date.
- Monitor court deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and other important litigation dates.
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, medical providers, experts, and other third parties.
- Assist with all phases of discovery, including preparing responses, organizing records, and managing document production.
- Prepare case summaries, chronologies, trial binders, and other litigation support materials.
- Conduct legal and factual research as directed by attorneys.
- Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys and the legal team.
- Must be located outside of the United States (international candidates only).
- Previous experience as a Litigation Assistant, Legal Assistant, or Paralegal is required.
- Experience working in a U.S. law firm supporting litigation matters.
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures, court rules, deadlines, and legal documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and legal case management software.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace.
- Must be available to work full-time during U.S. business hours.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Personal injury litigation experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with state and federal e-filing systems.
- Familiarity with litigation support and document management platforms.
