The Opportunity:

Avantor is looking for a strategic and team-driven LIMS Administrator for the

Global Laboratory Services organization.

This role is full-time, USA - Remote.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Required Experience (1+ yrs):

  • LabVantage LIMS
  • LIMS Master Data.
  • System administration.
  • Data flow requirements in LIMS systems.

Preferred Experience:

  • With installation, upgrade and maintenance of LabVantage LIMS software.
  • Java, JavaScript, BarTender, Groovy and/or SQL.

Travel:

  • Up to 10 %

Avantor Global Laboratory Services provides a broad range of support for scientific research and production, including general laboratory services, technical laboratory services, and custom manufacturing solutions. 

Bringing business level interpersonal, communication and organizational skills while focusing on attention to detail the LIMS Administrator will:

  • Create, revise and maintain master data in the LabVantage LIMS system, including but not limited to parameters, parameter lists, test methods, specifications, sampling plans and products.
  • Approve and execute requested change management actions in EtQ and LIMS.
  • Navigate LIMS master data functional issues with management and IT or service providers.
  • Support testing functionality and validation efforts for LIMS upgrades, enhancements, and further site LIMS implementations.
  • Abide by regulatory requirements for 21 CFR Parts 11, 210 / 211, and 820, ISO 17025, GxP principles.
  • Work with customers, regulatory agents and vendors during audits and site visits.
  • Update and maintain procedures.
  • Manage and execute the design, development, and implementation of requested and approved enhancements to functionality of modules, reports, and interfaces of the LIMS.
  • Support administration of global LIMS and Empower CDS software functionality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
