Research stories and segments
· Pitch broadcast/digital stories
· Assist in writing packages and writing/posting online pieces
· Maintain up-to-date social media content
· Assist with field shoots including helping with gear
· Assist with teleprompter during live broadcasts
· Work alongside editorial and sales departments to meet client's needs
· Aid in greeting and bringing guests to and from set
· Conduct pre-interviews and fact-check information
· Perform other duties, as directed by management
· Must be attending an accredited college or university and studying mass communications, journalism, or related major
· Intern is required to work 10-20 hours a week
· Must be 18 years of age
· Must receive academic credit for the internship experience
· Must be registered for college at his or her institution during the quarter or semester in which the internship is performed
· Must have reliable transportation
· This is an unpaid internship; credit verification forms will be provided
