* The Lifecycle Marketing Strategist is responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing revenue-generating customer journeys and email programs across the full lifecycle- from onboarding to upsell, cross-sell, retention, and win-back. This role will focus heavily on email and CRM strategy, database health, segmentation, and automation to ensure every campaign delivers measurable business impact. You will partner across Marketing, Product, Data Science, and Sales to build journeys that are data-driven, scalable, and revenue-focused, ensuring each customer interaction contributes to engagement, conversion, and growth.
* What You Will Do
* Develop and manage high-performing lifecycle strategies that drive revenue through automated journeys and campaigns (onboarding, cross-sell, upsell, renewal, win-back).
* Build and optimize revenue-focused email and CRM programs leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Salesforce CRM, and Adobe Target for segmentation, triggers, and personalization.
* Oversee database health and hygiene, ensuring deliverability, compliance, and effective segmentation to maximize campaign reach and performance.
* Collaborate with Analytics and Data Science teams to leverage behavioral and transactional data for more effective targeting and campaign optimization.
* Define KPIs tied directly to revenue, conversion, and retention outcomes, and create reporting dashboards to measure impact and guide decisions.
* Implement A/B testing and experimentation frameworks within SFMC and Adobe Target to increase campaign conversion rates and revenue yield.
* Partner with Creative, Content, and Channel teams to ensure messaging is compelling, consistent, and aligned to revenue objectives.
* Champion the adoption of SFMC, Salesforce CRM, and Adobe Target to scale and optimize revenue-focused lifecycle campaigns.
* Identify new opportunities for lifecycle monetization and present recommendations that support CDW's revenue growth strategy.
* Maintain documentation of lifecycle programs, segmentation frameworks, and campaign best practices.
* What We Expect of You
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in email, CRM, or lifecycle marketing with a proven track record of driving revenue through campaigns.
* Demonstrated success designing and optimizing revenue-generating customer journeys and triggered email programs in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM.
* Experience with Adobe Target for personalization, testing, and content optimization.
* Strong understanding of database management, segmentation, and deliverability best practices.
* Advanced analytical skills with the ability to connect lifecycle performance metrics directly to revenue outcomes.
* Excellent communication and influence skills, with experience presenting insights to senior leadership.
* Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple revenue-driven initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with multi-channel lifecycle monetization approaches (email, push, SMS, in-app) a plus.
