The team:

You’ll be working alongside the Senior Counsel, Projects taking on mission-critical legal work and contract development and execution responsibilities as Glydways continues to deliver on our project pipeline. This role will involve significant collaboration with the Project Structuring, Project Delivery, Business Development, and Finance teams. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support the administration and management of a wide variety of contracts, including joint venture agreements, term sheets, letters of intent, master services agreements and related statements of work, MOUs, NDAs, teaming agreements, project company documents, procurement (RFI/RFQ/RFP), project agreements, including those using alternative project delivery methods, such as public-private partnerships (PPPP/P3) and other forms of alternative delivery contracting. 
  • Provide support on a wide range of legal matters, including the incorporation of legal entities in the US and abroad, the creation and maintenance of legal document repository and legal templates and forms, monitoring litigation caseload, insurance and bonding requirements.  
  • Participate with project leads, partners, and counterparties to develop strategies and contract designs that meet Glydways’ goals.
  • Support day-to-day work of managing the suite of documents necessary to deliver on our projects. 
  • Support execution of legal documents, including contracts, certificates and others.
  • Work to ensure strategic alignment of contracts across the range of geographies where Glydways is developing projects.

These are just the responsibilities we expect. As a growing organization, the Contracts Manager will also be a sounding board for the Legal team and other stakeholders on many other topics as they emerge.

 

Ideal candidate:

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Minimum of 3 years of substantial and relevant experience with contract management, administration, development and execution with exposure to procurement, supply chain, project delivery, or related areas.
  • Experience supporting contract execution and / or supply chain management preferably in the mobility/transportation, infrastructure or energy industries.
  • Strong drafting, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills and the ability to successfully interact with colleagues, external stakeholders, legal counsel, and counterparties.
  • Highly organized, with an ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and to track down relevant stakeholders as necessary.
  • Strategic and imaginative thinker capable of identifying creative solutions to problems as a self-starter.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Excited about mobility, infrastructure, and delivering clean, cost-effective transit solutions.
  • A strong, confident communicator who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide strategic advice to management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, pre-law, accounting, mathematics, business, or a related field.
  • Comfort with regulatory processes around development of infrastructure projects in a global context.
