We are currently looking for a new Legal Content Specialist to join our Draft team remote in the United States or in one of our Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto locations.
What your team does:Clio Draft helps legal professionals automate and simplify their document workflows with an extensive online library of standardized U.S. County, State, and Federal court forms, as well as an expanding international presence. In addition to our library of templates, forms and precedents, Clio Draft allows its customers to convert their own custom documents into fillable templates. The Clio Draft Legal Content team develops and maintains the high-quality legal content that powers these workflows by staying in close proximity to our customers to understand their drafting needs and jurisdictional requirements. Our goal is to ensure Clio Draft delivers trusted content that adds value to help our customers draft documents faster and with greater accuracy.
Legal Content SpecialistImplementing best practices for developing, organizing, categorizing, and updating a constantly fluctuating digital library containing tens of thousands of court forms, templates, and precedents.
Continuing to expand Clio’s legal content footprint across the United States and other jurisdictions through strategic additions and updates to Clio Draft’s library of legal forms, precedents and templates.
Working closely with cross-functional partners and external vendors to meet team goals.
Applying machine learning and other technologies to streamline our content development pipeline and other operations.
Initiating and maintaining productive and professional communications with Clio customers about their practice needs and drafting preferences to develop meaningful relationships and maintain close proximity to our customers’ drafting needs, use cases and workflows.
Developing and maintaining expert skill-levels with Clio Draft, as well as Clio’s suite of other solutions, tools, and integrations.
Practicing responsible ownership and stewardship of assigned projects, including efficient budgeting of time, proactive expectation setting, documentation of processes, and clear communications.
Advocating internally for our customers by understanding their needs, nuances, and root causes of their problems.
Leveraging metrics to drive priorities and measure progress.
Apply meticulous attention to detail and a strong grasp of drafting workflows to maintain high quality standards across content libraries, ensuring a consistent and seamless customer experience.
Additional duties as required.
1+ year of legal experience and/or training at a paralegal or higher level preferred.
Genuine empathy, strong interpersonal skills and ability to make customers feel appreciated and valued.
Experience in legal practice management software and familiarity with legal workflows and processes.
Proactive and self-motivated mindset, constantly thinking outside the box to employ creative solutions where appropriate.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while exercising good independent professional judgment, and breaking down complex projects into smaller, more manageable pieces.
A strong understanding of cloud-based legal technologies together with a demonstrated understanding of the legal industry and the drafting needs of legal professionals.

The full salary range* for this role is $79,900 to $94,000 to $108,100 USD.Please note salary bands may differ based on location and local currency. Additionally, benefit offerings may differ depending on the employee's location.*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate.
