What We Need

The Learning Partner will report directly to the Director, Operations Training. This team member is responsible for developing and delivering training that enables Synapse Health to reach E.P.I.C. heights. The Learning Partner will become an expert in Synapse Health processes and systems in order to provide effective coaching and training. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, designing and deploying innovative courses that engage and upskill employees, support career growth, and drive organizational performance.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and deliver training, including role-specific, soft skills, just-in-time, on-the-job, and advanced skills training.
  • Develop Synapse Health expertise through training attendance, job shadowing and on-the-job experience.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual classroom training for employees and leaders.
  • Ensure a positive learner experience by delivering in an engaging manner, communicating effectively, and managing the classroom.
  • Develop training using instructional design methodology through all phases of development; including analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation.
  • Conduct assessments to measure competency, evaluate trainees for role readiness, and determine achievement of learning objectives.
  • Partner with business leaders, the learning team, subject matter experts and learners to identify organizational needs and ensure that learning programs effectively address needs.
  • Ensure content accurately reflects current processes, policies, procedures and accreditation and compliance standards.
  • Manage classroom logistics, including sending invitations, scheduling presenters, tracking attendance and sending follow-up surveys.
  • Coach learners and provide individualized, targeted feedback to enhance performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organization Communication, Industrial Organizational Psychology or related field required; Masters preferred.
  • 3+ years of internal and/or external training experience, including virtual platform training delivery.
  • Experience in technology and role-specific training required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in applying adult learning principles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in coaching participants and classroom management.
  • Ability to demonstrate adaptability and resiliency while dealing with ambiguity and change.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate succinctly and effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Desire to continuously grow knowledge of the training industry.
  • Strong organizational skills.
