Workiva is seeking a Learning Insights and Reporting Analyst to join our Learning & Development (L&D) team. In this role, you’ll turn learning data into meaningful insights that shape how we design and deliver programs. You’ll collect, analyze, and visualize data from platforms like WorkRamp, LinkedIn Learning, and CultureAmp, building dashboards and reports that track engagement and impact. Partnering closely with program owners, you’ll surface trends and recommendations that ensure our learning initiatives drive real results across a global SaaS organization.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on turning data into actionable insights while also enjoying the operational and stakeholder-facing aspects of learning program management.
What You’ll Do
Extract and analyze data from learning and development platforms: LMS (WorkRamp) and LinkedIn Learning, CultureAmp, Qualtrics
Build dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Amazon QuickSight, Looker) to visualize learning outcomes and trends
Automate reporting processes and maintain self-serve dashboards for leadership and program stakeholders
Own recurring reporting cycles (monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, annual) for People Development and associated programs
Track course completion, learner engagement, knowledge retention, and program effectiveness, connecting data across platforms for a comprehensive view
Partner with program owners to evaluate learning ROI and optimize program design
Collaborate with stakeholders to measure KPIs and ensure learning initiatives support business objectives
Support data governance and ensure the accuracy and security of learning data
Work closely with HR, Talent Development, and cross-functional teams to align learning analytics with broader organizational initiatives
Coordinate logistics for learning programs, workshops, and webinars
Manage learner communications and engagement campaigns
Assist in content curation and deployment across platforms like LMSs and LinkedIn Learning
Participate in vendor meetings for tools such as LMS, survey platforms, and external learning providers
What You’ll Need
Minimum Qualifications
Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of knowledge and related career experience
4+ years of experience in an analytics, reporting, or related field
Learning & Development experience, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience collaborating across global teams in a high-growth tech or SaaS environment
Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using Excel, SQL, and/or Python
Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
Strong data storytelling skills with the ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders
Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and platforms such as LinkedIn LearningExperience with survey platforms such as Google Forms, Culture Amp, or similar
Exposure to program or project management in a learning or HR environment
Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design principles, or learning measurement frameworks (e.g., Kirkpatrick Model)Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to interpret data and manage multiple initiatives in a global, matrixed organization
Ability to quickly adopt and use new technologies to build learning insights
Travel Requirements & Working Conditions
Minimal travel, less than 10%
Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office
How You’ll Be Rewarded
✅ Salary range in the US: $86,000.00 - $138,000.00✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
