About the role

We are seeking a talented Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team at Tidal Financial Group. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining frontend systems for our web and internal applications, ensuring exceptional user experiences and robust, scalable code.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality frontend systems for web and internal applications
  • Translate design mockups from Figma into pixel-perfect, responsive frontend code
  • Build reusable components and frontend libraries using modern frameworks and best practices
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers
  • Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency with Next.js and modern React patterns
  • Expert knowledge of Tailwind CSS and utility-first CSS frameworks
  • Experience with shadcn/ui or similar component libraries
  • Proven ability to translate Figma designs into production-ready frontend code
  • 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards
  • Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Proficiency with version control systems (Git)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the financial services or fintech industry
  • Familiarity with state management libraries (Zustand, Redux, etc.)
  • Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright)
  • Experience with design systems and component documentation (Storybook)
  • Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
