The Lead, Technology Solutions – Cybersecurity plays a pivotal role in driving execution across Humana’s cybersecurity capabilities. This individual serves as a strategic integrator, aligning delivery across Agile, project, and operational workstreams to support capability maturity, enterprise objectives, and consumer experience improvements. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Lead collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders—including Product Managers, Product Owner, Project Leads, SMEs, and senior leadership—to shape delivery plans, maintain governance rigor, and influence decisions through data-driven insights.
This role requires a strong blend of strategic foresight, technical acumen, and delivery discipline. The Lead is expected to mentor peers, contribute to the evolution of delivery models, and promote consistent use of program standards and templates to scale excellence across the cybersecurity portfolio. Success in this role is measured by the ability to drive cohesive execution, maintain transparency through unified reporting, and foster alignment across capabilities and enterprise priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all plannable cybersecurity work, with clear traceability to strategic priorities, OKRs, and maturity goals
Drive strategic alignment across capabilities and shape narratives for senior leadership and portfolio reviews
Coordinate Agile, project, and operational workstreams to ensure synchronized execution
Manage cross-team dependencies and proactively identify risks and blockers
Lead unified reporting efforts including monthly portfolio reviews, OKR progress, delivery health, and risk posture
Maintain RAID logs and ensure consistent use of execution standards and templates for predictable stakeholder experiences
Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, RTEs, Project Managers, and SMEs to ensure delivery cohesion
Provide executive-ready insights and recommendations to inform investment prioritization and risk mitigation
Mentor peers and contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery processes and standards
Promote consistent use of execution templates and tools to scale delivery excellence
Aid in quarterly roadmap refreshes and 12-week planning cycles supporting capability progression
Ensure adherence to governance standards, reporting cadence, and compliance expectations
Act as a strategic escalation gatekeeper, validating issues and coaching resolution paths
Foster cross-functional collaboration and maintain trust with stakeholders across cybersecurity and enterprise teams

Required Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in IT program or project management, with a focus on cybersecurity or technology enablement.
Proven ability to lead integrated delivery across Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall models.
Experience managing large-scale cybersecurity initiatives (e.g., IAM, SOC, Network Security, Security Architecture).
Strong understanding of delivery governance, OKR alignment, and strategic planning.
Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through data-driven insights and executive communication.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment in complex scenarios.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Technical domain experise in Application Security, Cryptographic Security, Network Security, Offensive Security, Open-Source Security, and/or Security Posture Management.
PMP or equivalent project management certification.
Experience facilitating PI planning, OKR development, and capability-level reporting.
Familiarity with cybersecurity maturity models and capability-driven execution frameworks.
Proficiency in tools such as Jira Align, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, WorkBoard, and Microsoft Office Suite.

- WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
