As a Lead Technical Program Manager within the Talent Acquisition and Onboarding product team at JPMC, you will lead the successful delivery of complex technology programs that deliver scalable, integrated solutions across JPMorganChase's Talent Acquisition Platform, Automation, and Intelligence ecosystem. This is a highly visible role where you will partner closely with engineering, product, data, security, and HR stakeholders to deliver programs that enhance the candidate experience and transform how we attract and hire top talent. You will leverage your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories to assist in the development of innovative solutions, management of resources and budgets, and leadership of high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability will enable you to navigate ambiguity and change, ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will direct clarity and execution across large, ambiguous problem spaces, ensuring on-time delivery of complex programs through your mastery of planning, communication, and technical depth. Job Responsibilities:
- Develops and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating product and technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions.
- Owns the end-to-end technical delivery roadmap across the Talent Acquisition ecosystem, including applicant tracking, interview scheduling, CRM, and skills assessments.
- Identifies and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum.
- Establishes strong program governance, setting up appropriate checkpoints, OKRs, and performance metrics to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, data, security, and HR stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall Product objectives.
- Drives technical roadmap alignment across engineering, architecture, and infrastructure teams, ensuring scalability, availability, and performance of Talent Acquisition systems.
- Utilizes advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Champions the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
- Manages resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Mentors junior TPMs and program contributors, providing guidance on program structuring, stakeholder management, and cross-team coordination.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering program management, or equivalent roles delivering complex software programs and systems.
- Proven expertise managing technical delivery across large-scale, integrated platforms and APIs.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, agile delivery methodologies, and modern SaaS/cloud architectures.
- Strong technical acumen, with the ability to translate complex technical details into clear plans and communications for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong technical fluency: ability to read architecture diagrams, understand APIs and integration patterns, and engage with engineering at a detailed level.
- Demonstrated success leading organizational change and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; calm under pressure and confident navigating ambiguity.
- Proficient in program planning, risk management, and metrics tracking using tools like Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience with enterprise cloud platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, Databricks, etc.)
- Experience in HR tech ecosystems, including ATS, CRM, and employee lifecycle tools
- Experience launching internal platforms or systems in a global, highly regulated environment.
- Familiarity with customer experience design and end-to-end experience optimization
- Proficiency in program metrics and reporting to track progress, surface insights, and inform decisions.
- Background supporting globally distributed teams and navigating matrixed organizations.
- PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or equivalent technical program certification
