Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, size, and validate innovative and enterprise scalable solution architectures based on business needs and drivers.

  • Mentor the team of OutSystems’, customer’s, and partner’s resources on architecture and development best practices.

  • Influence the direction of the solution based on expertise in OutSystems and other technologies.

  • Grow the technical ability of the professional services team through contributions to technical practices, e.g., documentation, sample applications, blog posts, and speaker events.

  • Translate business requirements into viable and scalable applications, leveraging OutSystems capabilities

  • Application composition that ensures lifecycle independency

  • Review and recommend architecture patterns

  • Correctly isolate Core Services, to promote reusability and lower maintenance costs

  • Identify non-functional requirements, integrations needs and common style guides across all OutSystems applications

  • Assess existing applications in performance, architecture and development and recommend best practices

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics.

  • 10 years of software development experience.

  • 4 years of experience in architecture or technical leadership roles.

  • Experience in web or mobile application development, project delivery practices, architecture design, architecture patterns, and application performance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Be a Problem solver, on top of things, customer oriented and fast context learner

  • Understand and apply architecture patterns in enterprise projects

  • Identify, evaluate and fix applications performance bottlenecks

  • Ability to conduct technical reviews during the software development life cycle and prescribe optimizations and improvement measures

  • Software development experience in .NET, C#, SQL, REST, SOAP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Ability to work at global scale, across multiple teams and timezones. 

  • Strategic mindset and ability to innovate using technology to advance business goals.

  • Excellent communication, Influencing, and interpersonal skills.
