Job Description:

Hundreds of millions of times per year, Phreesia has the chance to communicate with patients at a key moment just prior to talking to their healthcare teams, and HCPs as they prepare to meet with patients -- helping both ask the right questions, share in decision-making, and see better outcomes.

As a key member of our Network Solutions department, the Lead Strategist will play a critical role in shaping engagement strategies that directly contribute to business growth, improved program performance, and achievement of key HCP business objectives. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and optimizing campaigns, and identify primary and secondary research opportunities to deliver more impactful healthcare experiences and envisioning what our platform needs next. You will work closely with teams across the organization and collaborate regularly with our Research, Product, User Experience, Market Development, Data Science, Insights & Analytics, and other teams. We are looking for smart, creative, and entrepreneurial strategists eager to take leadership roles in developing end-to-end engagement strategies for both patient and HCP campaigns that support brand goals and positive health outcomes.

Phreesia is a fully remote company; however, candidates located in ET and CT regions are given priority in the hiring process.

What You'll Do

  • Support and initiate strategic partner relationships, driving thought leadership in patient and HCP engagement, education, and behavior change.

  • Apply deep knowledge of US Pharma, pharma marketing, and enterprise client needs to shape account strategies and uncover growth opportunities with Client Experience teams.

  • Develop multi‑year account plans and refine programs that adapt to evolving needs and deliver measurable improvements in HCP engagement and business results.

  • Create clear, data‑driven recommendations by interpreting performance reporting, asking insightful questions, and aligning cross‑functional teams around shared insights.

  • Maintain a strong point of view on effective patient and HCP engagement to support brand objectives and better outcomes, even in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments.

  • Collaborate across Market Development, Product, Programmatic, Research, Analytics, and Insights to run pilots and scale successful solutions that enhance Phreesia’s tools and client value.

  • Facilitate structured brainstorming sessions and clearly communicate platform value, content capabilities and limitations, required tools and services, digital‑content risks and mitigation strategies, and relevant technology trends.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree Required; MBA, MPH, MPP or other graduate degree a plus

  • 7 years of relevant work experience in content strategy, content development, population health, health education, health behavior, digital health technology, or an adjacent space

  • Very strong problem definition and solution criteria skills: ability to isolate significant drivers and relationships within complex systems, specify requirements, and generate elegant solutions

  • Experience leading and growing relationships with top US pharma companies

  • Proven talent driving change, influencing thought, and promoting consensus across a matrix organization

  • Strong ability to drive independent as well as large collaborative projects to success

  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with all levels of clients, internal staff, and management

  • Outstanding problem solving, analytical, and project management skills

  • Flexible, curious, and proactive approach
