This role combines specialty software development with advanced workflow engineering, process insights, and cross-functional coaching.

This role combines specialty software development with advanced workflow engineering, process insights, and cross-functional coaching.
In this role, you will:
- Process Intelligence & Analysis:• Lead advanced process analysis using Celonis (process mining) and Skan.ai (task intelligence and discovery) to identify inefficiencies, control gaps, workflow friction, and technology bottlenecks across end-to-end processes.• Integrate insights from Celonis and Skan.ai to inform automation strategy, continuous improvement, and operational optimization efforts.• Monitor and mature automated workflows by reviewing performance metrics, identifying enhancement opportunities, and ensuring long-term scalability and resilience.
- Workflow, Automation & Platform Engineering:• Lead complex initiatives across Pega Knowledge, automation frameworks, and process intelligence platforms.• Design and implement automation solutions across Pega, APIs, event-driven systems, and low-code orchestration tools.• Develop, orchestrate, and optimize cross-platform workflows between AI and automation tools (e.g., Skan.ai, EDIP, Pega Knowledge Buddy, Pega Knowledge Coach) to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.• Resolve escalated issues related to Pega, Celonis, Skan.ai, integrations, and automation workflows.
Requirements & Delivery:• Translate complex business needs into actionable technology requirements and refine the backlog with product owners.• Collaborate with architects and principal engineers to design AI-enabled workflows, automation patterns, and integration architectures.• Support UAT planning and execution, validate end-to-end functionality, and ensure smooth deployment and hypercare stabilization.• Design, develop, test, and implement applications, system components, utilities, and analytics solutions.
Knowledge Management & Coaching:• Serve as SME for Pega Knowledge-including taxonomy, content architecture, workflow optimization, and governance.• Coach product teams, analysts, and junior engineers on Pega design patterns and platform capabilities.• Mentor less-experienced engineers and collaborate with leaders to uplift engineering maturity.
- 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Hands-on experience with Pega platforms.
- Pega certifications (CSA, CSSA, BA).
- Experience with Celonis and/or Skan.ai or similar task/process mining tools.
- Experience with reusable automation components and enterprise integrations.
- Analytical skills and familiarity with operational excellence.
- Understanding of task mining & masking configurations.
- Strong Process Design and Object Driven process modeling, including BPMN 2.0 knowledge
- Proficiency in process analytics, workflow analysis, and productivity studies.
- Ability to read and interpret system logs, user-activity capture, or desktop-analytics outputs.
- Familiarity with LLM-driven insights and continuous observation frameworks.
- Ability to lead complex initiatives across multiple tools.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
