In this role, you will:
- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
- Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5 + years of Core Java experience
- 4 + years of Spring experience
- 4 + years of JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) development experience
- 4 + years of RESTful or SOAP web services
- 1 year experience working with AI/ML technologies such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, or Large Language Models (LLMs)
- 1 year of hands-on experience building or integrating agent-based or AI orchestration pipelines using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar technologies
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, or Azure) and containerized deployments
- Exposure to prompt engineering, model evaluation, or AI experimentation frameworks
- Knowledge of Microservices
- Experience with Kafka
- Knowledge and understanding of test driven application development
- Ability to design, develop, and implement large scale/complex software applications
- Knowledge and understanding of design and development of modern web applications and mobile technologies
- 4+ years of Agile experience
- Experience with Redis
- 5+ years experience with SDLC tools and processes including GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Maven or Gradle
- Knowledge and experience of stream processing frameworks like Apache Spark / Flink
- 4 + years of experience in developing JUnit test cases
- Knowledge of BDD
