In This Role, You Will
- Lead complex technology initiatives, including companywide programs with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing enterprise engineering standards and best practices for large-scale technology solutions
- Design, code, test, debug, and document software solutions across projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions to support tactical and strategic business objectives
- Evaluate enterprise technology environments and resolve challenges requiring deep analysis of multiple factors, including unprecedented technical considerations
- Make decisions on engineering approaches by applying industry best practices and emerging technologies
- Influence and lead technology teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with senior technical experts, architects, and external industry partners to resolve complex technical issues
- Lead projects, guide technical workstreams, or serve as a peer mentor to other engineers
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience
- 5+ years of experience developing microservices, including working with MongoDB and Kafka
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with container-based technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- 3+ years of experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Experience designing large language model (LLM) prompt engineering, prompt chaining, and evaluation frameworks
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and analyze performance bottlenecks
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of API-driven microservices development on internal or external cloud platforms
- 5+ years of engineering experience leading and developing Core Banking applications
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing GenAI-powered applications using LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, etc.)
- 3+ years of Kubernetes experience, including OpenShift or other container orchestration platforms
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Elastic, Kibana, Grafana, AppDynamics, New Relic, DataDog, or TrueSight
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and collaboratively, including with onshore and offshore teams
Job Expectations
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule
