The Lead Software Engineer will design, development and implement assigned application development projects. Work on moderate to difficult multiple projects concurrently by using technical knowledge in assigned area NET, and structured programming concepts, architecture and process enhancement.
Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and maintain applications or specialized utility programs
- Analyze business needs and develop software solutions for public or internal use with the aim of optimizing member experience, system stability and operational efficiency
- Development of full lifecycle applications to include technical design, implementation, testing and maintenance of simple to highly complex applications
- Conduct detailed analysis of system interactions to determine technical solutions and resolves problems that are cost effective and consistent with user needs, system capacities and capabilities.
- Utilize project management techniques in planning, estimating, controlling and completing multiple high-level assignments/projects varying in scope and complexity. Understand business needs to elicit meaningful technical requirements to address those needs
- Identify problems and determines corrective action including development of custom programs when appropriate
- Work with other technical support functions to troubleshoot complex problems and member service issues. Identify and implement solutions that are related to production level code defects or process changes
- Trains and mentors other team members on operational procedures and processes
Education:
- Bachelors Degree - Computer Science or Related - Minimum
Years of Experience:
- 5 Years - Application Development or Related - Minimum
- 1 Year - Project Management - Minimum
In Lieu of Education:
- 8 years - Application Development within an Agile Environment
License/Certification/Training:
- Microsoft Certification - Preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
Typical hiring range: $113,000 - $159,550 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
