About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer (DevOps Engineer) in Technology as part of Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT). As a Lead Software Engineer, you will setup and maintain infrastructure environments and CI/CD pipelines for a Counterparty Credit Risk Trading application. Candidate should be able to coordinate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless integration, automated deployment and high availability across all environments. You will play a key role in driving infrastructure projects, improving deployment efficiency and ensuring a stable and scalable delivery pipeline aligned with project timelines and stakeholder needs.
 

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact

  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs

  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors

  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals

  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years of experience with the design, implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Maven or Azure DevOps

  • 3+ years of experience working to automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience collaborating with developers to containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes or ECS.

  • Experience with monitoring for system performance, setting up alerts and troubleshooting production issues using tools like Prometheus, Grafana

  • Experience working with Unix environments

  • Experience with tuning high-performance cache

  • Experience with scripting in python and Unix or any equivalent languages

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$111,100.00 - $237,100.00
