Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Software Engineer in Iselin, NJ.
Job Role and Responsibility:
Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact. Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines. Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs. Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors. Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives. Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.
Travel required: 5% of time.
Required Qualifications:
Degree required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
Amount and type of experience required: Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software engineering experience.
Specific skills required:
Specific skills required: 2 years of experience in consulting at the highest technical level on design: planning, integration, implementation, scalability, and problem definition; 3 years of scripting and automation experience using Python, Autosys, and JavaScript; 3 years of experience with Microservice, Kafka, or Event driven approach; 5 years of programming experience in languages like Java or .Net; 1 year of experience with Operating Systems like Linux, Unix, and Windows; and 2 years of experience in monitoring tools Splunk, Prometheus, and Site Scope.
Rate of Pay: $179,982 - 224,000 per year
