At Commerce, we are looking for a Senior Salesforce Analyst based in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will operate as the lead strategic architect and primary point of contact for our Salesforce ecosystem, bridging the gap between complex business requirements and high-performance technical solutions. By developing a trusted advisor relationship with cross-functional stakeholders and technical teams, you will drive technical excellence, optimize end-to-end business processes, and empower our organization to scale with confidence!
What You’ll DoConsult with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with user experience goals and cost efficiencies.
Lead the development of business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and long-term product roadmaps.
Map current and future state business processes and produce high-quality documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Use Cases.
Architect end-to-end technology solutions across cross-functional teams, acting as a vocal advocate for technical excellence and secure software development.
Evaluate new Salesforce releases and lead the execution of functionality roll-outs and platform enhancements.
Collaborate with developers and third-party vendors to translate business vision into technical reality via architecture review boards.
Define UAT success criteria and facilitate end-to-end testing for Salesforce roll-outs to ensure all functional requirements are met.
Lead Salesforce-specific initiatives, providing "Level of Effort" (LOE) assessments, design considerations, and implementation timelines.
Negotiate with business units on competing priorities to ensure project delivery aligns with organizational capacity.
Provide expert guidance to stakeholders during system changes and help technical team members make sound engineering decisions.
Salesforce Mastery: 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Architect, including previous full-scale implementation experience.
Business Analysis: 5+ years of BA experience with a deep understanding of the full SDLC, data modeling, and process mapping.
Workshop Facilitation: Expert at leading discovery workshops and sessions to elicit requirements from diverse business units.
Stakeholder Influence: Natural ability to build relationships, negotiate, and influence leaders across the organization.
Project Delivery: 2-3 years of experience supporting project lifecycles, ensuring technical solutions meet business requirements on time and to spec.
Strategic Documentation: Proven ability to create robust business cases, specification documentation, and system procedures.
Domain Knowledge: Solid grasp of best-practice sales and marketing processes; IT-related degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) required.
Adaptability: A diplomatic problem-solver who thrives in changing environments.
Precision: Outstanding accuracy with a commitment to continuous skill development.
