About Limble

At Limble we empower the unsung heroes who support the world. We’re revolutionizing the way businesses manage their maintenance operations by providing a comprehensive suite of software solutions that empower organizations to optimize asset performance and drive operational excellence. From preventive maintenance to inventory management and beyond, our robust CMMS platform offers a suite of features designed to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

About the Role

We are looking for a quality-driven and people-oriented QA Engineering Lead to oversee our growing QA function and lead a team of 5+ quality engineers. This role is responsible for shaping and executing the quality strategy across all of application engineering. You’ll partner with engineering and product leadership to integrate a culture of testing into the SDLC, develop and enforce QA standards, and ensure our web applications and APIs meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.

In addition to managing team delivery, you’ll play a key role in defining metrics and reporting for QA health — including root cause analysis, bug escape rates, time-to-resolution, and more — providing visibility to engineering and executive leadership. You’ll bring a hands-on approach when needed, but your primary focus will be on team leadership, process development, and cross-functional collaboration to elevate our testing practices and outcomes.

How you’ll make an impact
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers responsible for testing across multiple application teams.

  • Define and enforce QA best practices, standards, and tooling across the SDLC.

  • Drive the implementation of robust automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, unit testing) for UI and API layers.

  • Foster a culture of quality by collaborating closely with engineering, product, and design teams to shift testing left and embed QA thinking early in the development lifecycle.

  • Establish and maintain clear quality metrics (e.g., escaped defects, root cause analysis, time-to-fix) and provide regular reporting to engineering and executive leadership.

  • Ensure test coverage meets standards across critical workflows, and lead initiatives to reduce regressions and escaped defects.

  • Encourage exploratory testing amongst the organization.

  • Own developing appropriate test suites across Limble’s web and mobile applications.

  • Continuously improve our QA processes, including selection of tools, integration into CI/CD pipelines, and test environment management.

  • Stay current with industry trends and bring forward modern approaches to test automation, performance testing, and risk management.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role.

  • Strong background in test automation frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript, or similar tools.

  • Proven experience leading QA efforts in agile product development environments.

  • Deep understanding of API testing (manual and automated) and backend validation techniques.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and their integration with automated tests.

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience performing root cause analysis and communicating testing KPIs to leadership.

  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling QA processes and teams.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Nice to Haves
  • Experience with additional test frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium).

  • Familiarity with performance or security testing tools.

  • Experience testing in cloud environments (e.g., AWS).

  • Working knowledge of database validation (SQL).

  • Background in Agile or Scrum-based development environments.

Benefits
  • $120,000 - $170,000

  • Fully remote position

  • Stock options

  • Flexible PTO

  • 11 paid company holidays

  • Paid parental leave

  • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance

  • Employer paid Basic Life insurance and Short-Term Disability insurance

  • Company contribution match for HSA and 401(k)

  • Monthly employee wellness stipend

  • Opportunities for Learning and Development Reimbursement

  • Pet insurance

At Limble we are solution-oriented and customer-obsessed. We hire with a people-first approach, and we understand there’s no such thing as a perfect candidate. Limble’s company culture and values are based on collaboration and transparency. Our customers come from all different backgrounds and so do our employees. If you’re results-driven, enjoy solving complex problems, and are curious about what you could accomplish at a rapidly scaling startup, we’d love to hear from you.
