As a Lead Project Engineer at Honeywell within the Aerospace - Advanced Electromechanical Solutions (AES) division, you will lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation through completion.  This role is pivotal in ensuring project success through strategic planning, technical oversight, and cross-functional collaboration.

This role will have a heavy emphasis on supporting customers and supplying Honeywell systems.  

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Own project scope and baseline change requests
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Lead RFI/RFP responses including ownership of financial estimates, SOW and spec compliance matrices, and technical volume
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross functional teams to ensure project success
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Earned Value Management
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 7+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience in risk management and problem-solving
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
  • Technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline

Pay Equity Language: 

The annual base salary range for this position is $154,000 - $192,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
