We’re looking for a Global LOA Program Manager to join the People Team at Snap Inc!

The Global LOA Program Manager will be responsible for full cycle Leave of Absence management  including administration and ongoing development of the Snap LOA program (both U.S. and International), Time Off & Holiday Policies, Life Insurance/AD&D, Worker's Compensation support, supporting leave escalations, and managing our Leaves Specialists.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee LOA Program Management: This may include tasks such as managing the overall Leave of Absence program, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program from initial leave requests to return to work planning

  • Manage U.S. LOA 3rd party vendor, ensuring optimal service delivery and operational efficiency

  • Manage the Global LOA program, in consultation with the International Benefits Senior Manager, including leave policy research and creation, development of standard operating process guides, policy adherence and compliance reviews, and process automation where possible

  • Proactively work with the People Tech (HRIS) team to identify configuration requirements and enhancements for accurate recording of all absences in Workday, and testing of all system amendments

  • Partner with the HRBPs, Legal, Payroll, and external providers as applicable on all aspects of LOA & Time Off processing

  • Manage CA Voluntary Disability Insurance (CA VDI) program, including coordination with Finance and Treasury as needed (i.e., VDI audits, reporting)

  • Manage the company's policies around time off and holidays, ensuring that they are compliant with relevant laws and regulations, and communicating them clearly to employees

  • Manage the company's US life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) 3rd party vendor, including policies, enrollment of employees into coverage, managing claims, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations

  • Manage the US Worker’s Compensation vendor and provide support to employees who have been injured on the job and are filing workers' compensation claims, including coordinating with Risk/Safety teams, Global Security, Employee Relations, etc. as needed

  • Work with Legal, Employee Relations, etc. as needed for LOA related escalations that require intervention

  • Manage Leaves Specialists and provide support as needed for LOA related administration, communications, pay calculations, audits, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Knowledge, skills, & abilities:Experience researching and formulating policy development, ensuring that they align to local/regional regulatory requirements

  • Experience with 3rd party vendor platform solutions that incorporate LOA capabilities, policy information, etc. is desirable

  • Proven ability to work independently and handle ambiguous situations with confidence

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, particularly in undefined or adapting circumstances

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 6+ years of experience in overseeing international LOA, including for regions such as EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.

  • Workday proficiency, including ability to understand third party integrations, reporting capabilities, audits, etc. Previous experience with the Absence Management module in Workday is essential

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $157,000-$235,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $149,000-$223,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $133,000-$200,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
