In this role, you will:

  • Manage risk and control processes as well as support product portfolio monitoring

  • Manage the compliance approval process across the firm for internally produced and third-party marketing materials

  • Provide product management for both hedge funds and private capital funds

  • Support the on-boarding process of alternative investments funds, including creation of content, review and approval of third party marketing collateral and working with fund partners and technology vendors to ensure compliance and legal standards are met

  • Provide education, product training and support to Wells Fargo investment professionals and alternative investment consultants on existing and new hedge fund and private capital product offerings

  • Develop educational content and other ad-hoc sales and product support requests

  • Provide ongoing reporting for various aspects of the alternative investment business

  • Maintain strong partnerships with Wells Fargo's internal partners such as the broker / dealer (Wells Fargo Advisors), Wells Fargo Private Bank and other internal divisions including consulting, marketing, legal, compliance and operations

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics

  • Experience developing and cultivating professional relationships

  • Ability to manage complex business processes associated with projects

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of advertising: branding, merchandising, and collateral development

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Experience developing and implementing project level processes, procedures and performance metrics

  • Ability to negotiate agreements or contracts

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

  • Experience creating PowerPoint presentations including charts and graphs for investment clients

  • 10+ years' experience in an investment related field with 5+ years' experience in hedge funds and/or private capital (can we replace with “alternative investments”?)

  • Deep knowledge of hedge fund, private equity, private debt and private real estate investments (suggest removing, as this is captured in prior bullet)

  • Experience in the writing and production of marketing collateral

  • Experience in managing relationships and leading business conversations

  • Ability to work independently with tremendous attention to detail

Job Expectations:

  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. FINRA Series 7 and 24 examinations, or equivalent must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required
