About the role:

CoreWeave the AI Hyperscaler™, offering one of the industry’s most performant and tailored infrastructure & managed services for building & deploying accelerated computing applications. Some of the latest LLMs and Generative AI applications are built and deployed on CoreWeave. As the Lead Product Manager for Compute at CoreWeave, you will be an essential member of our Product Team, with a specific focus on building out our GPU and CPU compute portfolio. This role demands a deep understanding of compute hardware and cloud services.

As the Product Lead for our Compute offerings, you will devise and execute a product strategy that delivers a superior array of GPU and CPU compute solutions, optimized for cutting-edge AI, machine learning, and high-performance computing workloads. By collaborating closely with hardware engineering, capacity planning, solutions architecture, and marketing teams, you'll be responsible for developing innovative compute offerings that not only meet the current demands of AI and ML workloads but also anticipate future trends in the rapidly evolving field of accelerated computing.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for CoreWeave’s Compute offerings, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals and market needs. 
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the Compute domain. Use these insights to guide product development and positioning.
  •  Product Development: Collaborate with engineering teams to design, build, and launch compute solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective. Ensure that products meet high standards of quality and performance. 
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer within the organization. Gather and prioritize customer requirements and feedback to continuously improve the products. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure successful product launches, market positioning, and ongoing lifecycle management.
  •  Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze product performance metrics. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions about product enhancements and future direction.

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on cloud compute infrastructure and AI/ML workloads.
  • Deep knowledge of GPU architectures, CPU technologies, and their applications in AI and HPC workloads, including an understanding of the latest advancements and market trends.
  • Experience building large-scale, highly available, and performant distributed systems.
  • Proven track record of managing successful products from concept to launch.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring teams and driving cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $180,000-$215,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
