The Gogo Business Aviation Material Handler (IV) Lead performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

How will you make a difference?
- Assist with physical inventory requirements, and perform cycle counts as required
- Ensure material movement transactions are completed correctly to maintain inventory accuracy
- Deliver incoming material to the proper recipient in a timely manner as indicated by shipping information to meet requirements of various projects, manufacturing work, and/or purchase orders/transfer orders.
- Troubleshoot and fix inventory transactions
- Mentor, assist, and train fellow team members and new hires to meet and exceed our individual and department level goals and metrics while encouraging safety and quality standards among the team
- Collaborate with and contribute to new product introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement projects
- Act as a key contributor to cross-functional interactions regarding Material activities
- Provide data to or oversee metrics and/or reports
- Conduct first-level investigation of any quality, equipment or process issues, with suggestions to prevent reoccurrence in future.
- Ensure the safety and productivity of all team members by ensuring all safety and process procedures are followed and escalating any issues in a timely manner.
- Escalate issues that arise, work to communicate best methods and practices to others, and provide corrective action to supervisor
- Work with the leadership to help develop and define SOPs and associated training for those procedures as necessary
- Maintain AS9100 requirements and certification
Receiving
- Daily processing of material receipts to ensure PO’s/receivers are accurate
- Deliver incoming material to the proper recipient in a timely manner
- Process RMA material to ensure that these materials are handled in a timely and correct manner to ensure customer requirements and Failure Analysis requirements are met
Shipping
- Ensure daily shipments of all products are processed in a timely manner to assure on-time-shipments and the processed orders are correct and complete
- Shipping of product to both Domestic and International Customers using UPS, FedEx and other carriers as required
- Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, and packing product
Stockroom
- Process completed racks from production and incoming inspection placing material in correct locations/bins
- Pull production orders (kits) per daily priority list
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory
Qualifications
- 4 - 6 years of related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Must be willing to work some weekends and holidays (as needed, on rotation)
- Ability to bend, lift up to 50 pounds, twist, turn and crawl in/out of tight spaces and ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time. Will be working in office, lab and manufacturing environments
Required Skills, Talents & Experience
- Familiar with ISO9000/9001 (AS9100 preferred) requirements
- Experience with Agile or Propel PLM and Navision - Business Central ERP systems preferred
- Has worked in a leadership and training role in a related job duty / function
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and problem solving to diagnose system, sub-system, and general processes
- Ability to document failures and learn from past mistakes. Able to provide process improvement feedback to prevent future instances of occurrence
- Advanced understanding of material handling areas and able to support as needed
- High attention to detail
Preferred Skills, Talents & Experience
- APICS Certification a plus
- Pallet jack and/or Forklift experience is preferred
- Relates well with other people and serves well as a team member
- Accountable and dependable
- Proficient computer skills with office software applications
- Demonstrated solid verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical / problem solving skills

22.40 - 28.00 USD HourlyTarget Annual Short-Term Incentive:
