About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) as part of Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Human Resources (HR) Team. As a Lead HR Business Partner, you'll advise senior leaders in Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) on talent strategy and collaborate with them to attract and retain top talent. You'll work closely with the Head of HR for CIB-Banking and partner with the wider HR Business Partner team on major people's initiatives.
In this role, you will:
  • Consult with business leaders by asking relevant questions, building organizational knowledge, and sharing insights to create and deliver effective HR solutions.
  • Provide guidance to managers on delivering performance feedback and oversee the year-end performance management process for Investment Banking.
  • Advise and support business leaders on matters related to compensation and employee relations.
  • Partner with Human Resources teams in Compensation, Recruiting, and Employee Relations, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall business strategy.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders in Risk & Control and Finance to ensure cross-functional alignment regarding the business impact of personnel decisions.
  • Link Wells Fargo's HR initiative directly to each business line's strategic and operational objectives.
  • Work with the Early Careers team to support campus strategies and early career initiatives.
  • Provide consultation, guidance, and direct support for implementing human capital strategies and leadership initiatives that align with business goals.
  • Embrace the Human Resources Operating Model by proactively and effectively collaborating with partners to positively influence outcomes
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Human Resources Business Partner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong business acumen within Corporate Investment Banking
  • Ability to prioritize high volume; competing priorities for multiple stakeholders in turn deliver balance of advice and counsel with strong execution capabilities
  • Excellent consulting, influencing, and partnering abilities with business executives/leaders and HR partners
  • Strong data analytics background
  • Experience providing executive coaching to senior leaders
  • Experience with developing and consulting on succession planning, recognition, team member engagement and retention strategies
  • Relevant and recent experience in a large corporate, multi-business HR or line organization
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule
  • This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$119,000.00 - $187,000.00
