The Lead GTM Analytics Engineer owns the data model that powers Valimail’s go-to-market execution across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partnerships. This role defines the metrics, attribution logic, and analytical foundations that enable predictable revenue performance and high-confidence decision-making. This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for translating ambiguous business questions into durable, scalable data structures, and delivering clear insights that directly influence GTM strategy and execution.

What you will do

  • Design, build, and own the end-to-end GTM data model, including lifecycle stages, funnel metrics, attribution logic, forecasting signals, scoring inputs, and cross-sell indicators.
  • Create and maintain a semantic layer that ensures consistent, trusted reporting across all GTM teams.
  • Define GTM metrics, data standards, and analytical logic that unify Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Product GTM data.
  • Partner with business and GTM leadership to translate strategic questions into scalable analytical models.
  • Build and maintain BI dashboards and analyses (e.g., pipeline, conversion, campaign performance, onboarding, and cross-sell).
  • Provide data logic that powers routing, scoring, enrichment, lifecycle automation, and GTM workflows.
  • Partner closely with Systems and Operations teams to ensure workflows run on clean, validated, and battle-tested data models.
  • Establish data validation, QA processes, and monitoring to maintain high data quality across systems.
  • Document data models, definitions, and logic to ensure clarity, consistency, and usability across stakeholders.

What you will have

  • 7+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI roles supporting GTM or revenue-focused teams.
  • Expert-level SQL and deep experience designing scalable analytical data models.
  • Strong understanding of GTM metrics, funnel performance, attribution models, and lifecycle frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake as a core data warehouse.
  • Experience working with Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, customer success tools, and enrichment systems as data sources.
  • Proven ability to build dashboards or data applications and clearly communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to take loosely defined business logic and operationalize it into clean, durable data structures.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders.
  • An owner mindset, accountable for the correctness, clarity, and usability of GTM data.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Python and modern data stack tools such as Airflow, Fivetran, or Stitch.
  • Experience applying AI or ML concepts at the data layer.
  • Experience working in high-growth B2B SaaS environments with complex GTM motions.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay, the expected base pay range for this role is $160,000 - $170,000 USD
  • Comprehensive health, dental, + vision coverage
  • Remote First Company, you can work anywhere within the US
  • Unlimited and flexible PTO. We believe balanced, happy, relaxed people do better work
