Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible to ensure all statutory regulatory filings are completed timely, efficiently and in compliance with the country regulatory requirements and timelines. This includes branches, legal entities and statutory consolidations from outside the US, as well as the management of the statutory audit process where applicable.
- Has full in-depth understanding of the annual statutory cycle process.
- Acts as expert for G2S and S2T walks; besides statutory expertise this requires deep knowledge of US GAAP accounting and processes and a profound understanding of tax regulations and processes.
- Collaborates with Wind Tax Team during tax audits.
- Responsible to manage in-house teams as well as third-party teams (e.g. Genpact) to execute on goals and strategy for the statutory Wind organization and overall GE Vernova.
- Has profound knowledge on the overall audit process and procedures, on how to manage and coordinate a statutory audit, negotiate engagement letters and settle overrun discussions with auditors.
- Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest functional developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensures delivery within area of responsibility.
- Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

Required Qualifications
- Degree or vocational training in business administration or a related field required
- Financial reporting experience
- Significant experience in the Statutory, US GAAP & Tax area with main focus on Statutory expertise for various local GAAPs.
- Wind industry expertise of processes within respective Tier 2 business (ONW, OFW, LM).
- ERP knowledge of Oracle Races, Oracle CCL and Axapta
