About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst who will be responsible for partnering with the Enterprise Function Technology CIO's & functional partners. The role will have accountability for all financial management activities for their CIO partners, including oversight and reporting of financials, headcount, and supporting vendor strategy while articulating financial drivers and strategy to senior management. Strong technical abilities with knowledge of financial systems/related process workflows and the ability to simplify/analyze large data sets in order to tell the story behind the financials will be critical for this role. Additionally, this role will require the ability to influence/partner and drive transformational change to the financial environment and underlying processes across the Technology organization.

In this role, you will:
- Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. Provide insight and recommendations to the CIOs on financial budgeting and forecasting
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and the monthly close. Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision making processes. Prepare and present detailed financial reports to the CIO's and other senior management. Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide recommendations for areas of improvement including streamlining processes and reporting, analyzing financial and headcount trends.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities to enhance the organizations financial stability
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Technology CIO's and business partners to ensure alignment of financial strategies and overall business objectives. Provide financial expertise and support to technology and business partners.
- Investment Prioritization and Reporting: Drive annual budgeting process including business case prioritization of technology investments and spend. Oversee investment plan financials and the overall book of work for aligned technology partners
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

- 5+ years of Technology Finance experience
- Ability to be proactive, innovative and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs
- Robust analytical skills including strategically analyzing & translating data, diagnosing risks and opportunities
- Independent leader and culture carrier
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material with technology leaders, stakeholders and business partners
- Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in financial software and tools including Apptio
