IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an upbeat, focused, high-energy individual to lead our Carson Dellosa Inside Sales team. Carson Dellosa Education, now a part of the IXL family of brands, was founded in 1977 by two teachers. The ideal candidate understands the changing K-12 landscape and has experience motivating teams with creative strategy and high performance standards. We're looking for a player/coach with the ability to lead and inspire a sales team while handling IXL's rapid growth. 

This is a full-time position in our Raleigh, NC area office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office with the option to work from home one day per week.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Provide leadership to a highly skilled team of 5 inside sales consultants to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of the organization
  • Develop a keen understanding of Carson Dellosa Educational Resources and how to position our company to a K-12 prospects needs and values
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and coaching throughout the sales process with collaborative idea and strategy sharing
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and self-evaluation.
  • Track, forecast, budget, and monitor sales pipeline
  • Meet sales goals on a consistent basis

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • BA/BS degree in an Education related or similar field
  • Educational Technology sales background
  • Complete understanding of the K-12 market
  • Experience in managing employees is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, purchasing or using educational supplemental resources - experience in sales management a plus 
  • Passion for bringing educational supplemental resources into the classroom 
  • Direct classroom experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Demonstrated success at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Aptitude for working under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to apply energy and creativity to meeting sales goals
