This is a hybrid role requiring working from the office 3 days per week (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday) Candidates must reside with commutable distance of a CVS Health office.

Preferred office locations include Atlanta, GA, Raleigh, NC, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Hartford, CT, Pittsburgh, PA

Position Summary
The Southeast Territory Initiatives Leader is responsible for coordinating and driving execution of priority, strategic, and operational initiatives across all Medicare markets within the Southeast Territory (Florida, Georgia Gulf, and MidSouth). This role enables alignment between enterprise priorities, territory strategy, and market‑level execution by operating as a central connector across markets, shared services, and enterprise partners. Serving as a key execution partner to the Southeast Territory Leader and market leadership, the role focuses on sequencing work, enabling collaboration, establishing governance, and ensuring follow‑through in a complex, matrixed environment to achieve results.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Strategic Initiatives
    • Coordinate and support execution of territory‑level strategic initiatives across multiple Medicare markets in the Southeast Territory
    • Translate territory priorities into structured workplans, milestones, and execution paths
    • Support the Southeast Territory Leader and market leaders by organizing initiative sequencing and interdependencies
  • Enable Cross‑Market & Cross‑Functional Alignment
    • Serve as a key liaison across markets, shared services, and enterprise partners
    • Drive alignment on priorities, expectations, and timelines in a matrixed operating model
    • Promote consistency in application of enterprise policies, standards, and best practices
  • Drive Governance & Follow‑Through
    • Support governance forums, operating cadences, and initiative reviews
    • Track decisions, action items, risks, and dependencies; ensure accountability and closure
    • Escalate risks or misalignment to the Southeast Territory Leader and appropriate partners
  • Support Process & Operational Improvement
    • Develop and document goals, strategies, tactics, processes, tools, and templates to improve execution efficiency
    • Identify opportunities to standardize and scale successful approaches across markets
    • Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement across the territory

Required Qualifications

  • 8-10 years’ experience in Medicare or equivalent managed care operational and technical skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree or similar graduate-level degree
  • 3-4 years’ experience working directly in Medicare Advantage in the Southeast
  • Subject matter expert in best practices, performance data, and regulations impacting a Medicare Advantage business.
  • Ability to perform data analysis and research to identify and clarify underlying performance issues, as well as ability to manage solutions to successful execution
  • Business acumen and experience with managing complex processes within a Medicare Advantage Organization

Education

  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,540.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
