Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Credit Risk Officer / Credit Administration & Development Officer. We are seeking a highly motivated credit and banking professional to join the Wholesale Workout team as a Lead Credit Risk Officer / Credit Administration & Development Officer. This role provides credit administration support to banking teams and partners with internal groups including Business Risk Management, Chief Risk Officer (CRO), and Line of Business (LOB) teams.
You will also play a key leadership role in managing and developing the early talent analyst pool, while driving the implementation of new enterprise credit policy requirements and enhancing group procedures. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about talent development, risk mitigation, and operational excellence.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$139,000.00 - $239,000.00

In this role, you will:
- Provide strategic vision for streamlining Workout portfolio management activities, including early talent and credit administration support
- Support strategic initiatives to improve operational and technological efficiency across Workout business segments
- Guide implementation of new credit policy/procedure requirements in collaboration with Credit Risk, CROs, and front-line partners
- Design and document controls, procedures, and job aids for credit-related processes
- Partner with Learning & Development to shape credit training for internal business partners
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding of early talent (interns and permanent hires) in partnership with Corporate Risk and recruiting teams
- Support analyst and associate engagement, retention, and professional development
- Manage deal staffing to ensure cross-training across industries and deal types
- Serve as recruiting liaison, lead placement decisions, and coordinate group representation at events
- Lead performance management processes for early talent, including setting objectives and managing reviews, compensation, and promotions
- Develop and execute annual educational plans for early talent
- 5+ years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- A BS/BA degree or higher
- Experience in a lending or credit risk management environment
- Strong partnership and consulting skills with leadership and cross-functional teams
- Results-oriented, resourceful, and proactive
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Experience developing and managing junior team members
- Strategic mindset with a focus on execution
- Familiarity with CIB or CB products and services
- Knowledge of recruiting, engagement, and development best practices
