We currently have a career opportunity for a Lead Camunda Developer to join our team.
As a Lead Camunda 8 Consultant, you will guide the end-to-end delivery of workflow automation solutions built on Camunda 8 and Zeebe. You will work closely with architects, developers, and client teams to convert business process models into scalable, high-performing technical implementations. This position requires strong technical leadership, hands-on engineering experience, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Lead technical planning, requirements gathering, solution architecture, estimation, development, and delivery
- Act as a subject matter expert and advisor on workflow and automation challenges
- Manage full lifecycle development including design, integration, testing, and deployment
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high standards across Camunda projects
- Mentor and support team members at varying experience levels
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement in solution quality, development processes, and best practices
- 8+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and integration engineering
- Strong background in C#.NET development
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Camunda 8 and familiarity with Zeebe
- At least 3 years of experience with BPM platforms such as Camunda 7, jBPM, or Activiti
- Experience delivering headless BPM implementations
- Integration experience with Kafka or similar event streaming platforms
- Ability to design database schemas and stored procedures to support workflow audit and reporting
- Strong knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar databases
- Experience working with cloud platforms, including AWS preferred, Azure or GCP acceptable
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools
- Proven consulting or client-facing experience
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Front-end development experience with Angular is a plus, though not mandatory.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $73,008 to $170,640. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
