About the Job
We are seeking a Lead Business Systems Analyst / Senior Salesforce Administrator experienced in managing and optimizing complex Salesforce environments. This role is ideal for someone who excels in mature, interconnected systems and can modernize them without disrupting operations.
You will lead Salesforce strategy and architecture—particularly Sales Cloud and CPQ—owning configuration, integrations, and data integrity while driving scalability, automation, and AI-enabled quote-to-cash innovation.
Performance Objectives
30 Days
- Deep dive into the Salesforce org, integrations, and data architecture to understand system dependencies and key workflows.
- Take ownership of routine Salesforce administration tasks, including configuration (objects, fields, layouts, validation rules, flows) and system integrity audits.
- Deliver 3–5 impactful system enhancements or quick wins that improve data quality, quoting workflows, or user experience.
60 Days
- Partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success leaders to gather and document system requirements, process gaps, and future-state needs.
- Develop and present scalable Salesforce/CPQ solutions that streamline quoting, pricing, and approval processes.
- Establish a governance and release management cadence, including AppExchange management and platform feature evaluation.Begin mapping core business systems, integrations, and data flows across Salesforce, CPQ, and other connected platforms.
90 Days
- Lead at least one significant cross-functional project to improve quoting, pricing, or pipeline management efficiency.
- Build or optimize executive dashboards and reports providing visibility into pipeline, quoting accuracy, and system adoption.
- Conduct training sessions for end users and junior admins to improve adoption and system utilization.
- Implement automation and process improvements that reduce manual effort and technical debt.
120 Days
- Present a strategic roadmap for Salesforce and CPQ evolution aligned to business goals and scalability needs.
- Deliver measurable improvements in automation, adoption, and data reliability through implemented enhancements.
- Document and communicate system architecture, governance standards, and long-term platform optimization strategies.
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to leadership, translating business goals into actionable platform initiatives.
Location: This role is a remote position. We operate as a remote-first company, and periodically host in-person all-company meetings. All positions require up to 15 days of travel per year, with senior management and leadership teams requiring up to 35 days. All positions require the legal ability (passport and travel visa) to travel to the US, excellent spoken and written English skills, and reliable, high-bandwidth Internet connectivity.
Performance Driven: We're looking for self-starters with a track record of delivering excellent results, and we're highly selective about who we hire. We don't focus on typical job requirements, instead, we're interested in specific examples from your past experiences.
Compensation: The base salary for this position generally ranges between $150,000 and $180,000, depending on experience.
