About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant in the Operational Excellence Team as part of the nCino program, supporting Commercial Banking Operations Deal Closing.
The team is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing business initiatives and programs, as well as serving as advocates for Wells Fargo's vision and business plans across business groups.
In this role, you will:
Be part of Commercial Banking Operational Excellence team aligned to broader CBO initiatives spanning across all functional teams on efforts such as:
  • Lending Transformation and related applications - nCino, GSS and LIQ
  • Creation of Target Operating Models
  • Process and People Functionalization and Move the Lines Activities
  • Physical Mail Digitization and Centralization
  • Automation on Manual Controls
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex transformation initiatives and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require strong analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large-scale solutions.
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale and cross organizational.
  • Lead team meetings or steering committee to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans.
  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership.
  • Provide direction to a cross functional team using business expertise.
  • Deliver process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction/value add
  • Effectively convey business case story to include:
  • Clarity: Distill complex information into clear and understandable narrative
  • Relevance: Connect the story to the business case, highlighting how it addresses key challenges or opportunities
  • Data Driven: Support their story with data and evidence, reinforcing the credibility of their case
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in Commercial Banking Operations Deal Closing.
  • In-depth understanding of the banking and financial services industry, including regulatory compliance, market trends, and best practices
  • Data Analysis - Proficiency in data analysis to make informed decisions and monitor impact of strategies on key performance indicators
  • Process Management Certifications - Lean Six Sigma, Agile, & Design Thinking
  • Confident making risk decisions in the moment.
  • Experience working with all levels of management with minimal management direction.
  • Proven ability to meet expectations in a fast-paced non-consistent environment with multiple accountabilities happening simultaneously.
  • Experience leading peers without direct reporting responsibility.
  • Experience leading functionalization models
  • Proficiency in data analysis and tools/software like excel and SQL
  • Experience gathering/analyzing/interpreting data to identify opportunities, trends, etc.
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic plans that align with the bank's goals and objectives
  • Extensive experience in developing business case funding to support desired process improvement solutions; including technology development
  • Strong Project Management & Risk Management tools.
  • Extensive experiencing leading complex programs aligned business SHRP's and ORE's
