About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant in the Issues Affecting Customers Office, responsible for supporting the end-to-end redesign and execution of a complex, business-critical assessment currently executed across multiple lines of business.
Crucial to this role is a proactive approach, strong analytical capabilities, issues management familiarity, and the ability to influence. This role will be instrumental in reducing risk, improving consistency, and delivering enterprise-wide impact.

In this role, you will:
- Assess Execution Gaps - Support evaluation of current execution practices across business units to identify inefficiencies and inconsistencies.
- Support Implementation - Assist in implementing new processes, ensuring smooth transitions and establishing sustainable execution models.
- Execute and Improve Controls - Carry out control processes while providing insights and feedback to enhance design and execution.
- Lead Cross-Functional Initiatives - Guide teams across departments to strategize, plan, and execute various programs, services, and initiatives.
- Drive Accountability and Efficiency - Ensure ownership of assigned initiatives, minimize risk exposure, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Review Strategic Performance - Analyze strategic approaches and assess the effectiveness of support functions and overall business performance.
- Conduct Complex Assessments - Perform data-driven assessments using creative problem-solving to address complex issues and recommend solutions.
- Decision-Making in Complex Scenarios - Make informed decisions in multifaceted situations, facilitate resolution, and support solution implementation.
- Collaborate on Strategic Initiatives - Work closely with Business Execution team members and leaders to advance strategic goals.
- Mentor Junior Staff - Influence and guide less experienced Strategy and Execution team members to build capability and alignment.
- 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Enterprise, Complaints, Remediation and Loudspeaker experience.
- Control & Issues Management Expertise - Proven experience in control management and issues management, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across business functions.
- Operational Assessment Skills - Skilled in evaluating current-state execution across business units to uncover inefficiencies and inconsistencies, driving continuous improvement.
- Change Implementation Support - Demonstrated ability to support implementation efforts, ensuring seamless transitions and establishing sustainable execution models.
- Process Execution & Optimization - Capable of executing controls while providing actionable insights and feedback to enhance process design and operational effectiveness.
- Cross-Functional Leadership - Experienced in leading cross-functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute diverse programs, services, and initiatives.
- Initiative Accountability & Risk Mitigation - Strong track record of driving accountability for initiatives, minimizing risk exposure, and identifying opportunities for efficiency.
- Strategic Performance Review - Adept at reviewing strategic approaches and evaluating the effectiveness of support functions and overall business performance.
- Analytical Problem Solving - Proficient in conducting assessments using data-driven, creative approaches to solve complex issues and develop practical, impactful solutions.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
