In this role, you will:
Provide Support for Condo Sales
  • Support our sales team by solving problems in collaboration with our Project Review, Credit Policy, and Fannie Mae's project review team.
  • Engage our team's leadership to highlight areas of focus, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Participate or lead developer meetings to fully understand the scope of the project and provide project review and approval options with emphasis on the different requirements and processing timeframes.
  • Coordinate reviews with our project review team and work with sales to obtain additional documents when necessary.
  • Proactively monitor activity in new construction condominium project reviews in process and track opportunities closing in 6 to 24 months.
  • Proactively monitor activity and follow-up on approved new construction projects
  • Recommend non-warrantable project approval or single loan exception processing to sales and project team when necessary.
  • Recommend and obtain initial documents and draft Rationale for New Condo Exception Approvals and participate in meeting with credit policy for review and approval.
  • Provide Program Consultants monthly reports on status and activity on pending and approved new construction projects and participate on monthly meeting with the PCs
  • Schedule follow-up developer meetings to update expectations and project review progress.
Source new condominium projects and SFD communities in target markets
  • Identify new communities in LMICT communities using WF data, Zonda, and FFIEC data and distribute to Program Consultants
  • Coordinate quarterly with other WF teams (HBB and CRE) that provide condominium construction financing to leverage capture rates.
Facilitate Monthly Condo Training:
  • Maintain training deck alignment with Government, Conforming, and Non-Conforming Condo requirements. Obtain JIRA approval when required.
  • Co-present and established project training class and new condominium project training
Participate in Credit Policy Changes and Change Control
  • Participate in all policy change meetings for underwriting credit, property, condominium, co-op for Government, Conforming and Non-Conforming business.
  • Participate in weekly Change Control Meetings, complete JIRA and GAIP impact assessments when requested. Consult with SMEs on the team to confirm impacts when necessary.
  • Provide a weekly team report on upcoming Policy changes and Change Control updates.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Collateral examination and Condominium project approval
  • Experience with Fannie, Freddie, FHA, VA agency guidelines
  • Experience in databases such as Tableau, Zonda, CPM, Builder Share and FFW
  • Ability to effectively partner and influence at the executive level
  • Strong prospecting, sales, negotiation, and influence skills
  • Ability to translate and present complex data in a manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influence decisions
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Superior project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong risk management and compliance skills
Job Expectations:

  • This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
