About this role: 

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant to join the Strategy, Transformation, and Automated Controls (STAC) team to focus on analytical data driven reviews tied to enterprise controls for CEDA’s Automated QA Review Program specifically supporting our Global Operations teams. 

This individual will assist supporting the development and implementation of various analytic products inclusive of developing new automated reviews that use system of record data to determine in whole or part the evidence of compliance for a target population of records so little to no manual review is required. Along with sourcing data populations, sampling and loading populations into various applications. 

 
The Lead Analytics Consultant will be responsible for multiple activities related to business analysis, that include consulting and partnering with senior level leaders, providing data-driven insights and developing analytical solutions to support a wide array of high priority business initiatives. The ability to capture and aggregate data is essential to driving action through proactive oversight. 
 
This individual will help identify and design analytic solutions to identify process gaps and anomalies using data to enable automation. Automation will reduce the complexity of the Quality Control (QC) / Quality Assurance (QA) process by integrating a data driven approach to provide our business partners the ability to perform their work as the efficiency and scale needed to optimize their operating models. This position will have the ability to translate complex business rules and processes into actionable insights using data and advance analytic mindset.

In this role, you will: 

  • Support the development and implementation of new automated reviews that use system of record data to determine in whole or part the evidence of compliance for a target population of records. 

  • Identify and design analytic solutions to identify process gaps and anomalies using data to enable automation. Automation will reduce the complexity of the QC/QA process by integrating a data driven approach to provide our business partners the ability to perform their work as the efficiency and scale needed to optimize their operating models. 

  • Identify and define business requirements and translate data and business needs into research and recommendations to improve efficiency.

  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions to automate manual business processes.

  • Lead complex initiatives by utilizing data-driven, advanced analytical, statistical techniques and business processes to make actionable insights, and recommendations to automating control requirements.

  • Perform analysis of understanding business processes and translating those into data technical expertise and documenting those process 

  • Identify and define business requirements and translate data and business needs into research and recommendations to improve efficiency.

  • Understand compliance and risk management requirements for multiple business units.

  • Ensure adherence to data management or data governance regulations and policies.

  • Participate in company initiatives or processes to assist in meeting risk and capital objectives and other strategic goals. 

  • Interpret and analyze data, using analytics tools and programming, to recommend ways to solve problems and influence business decisions and strategies.

  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence analytical strategies for highly complex business and technical needs. 

  • Experience with risk/control data sets including but not limited to quality assurance, quality control, key risk indicators.   

 
Required Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years’ experience and knowledge working in SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Studio or SAS Viya 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • 4+ years of experience and knowledge working in SAS Visual Analytics, Alteryx or Python scripting  

  • Front line or second line monitoring experience with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Self Assurance Activities, Internal Control Policy, Independant Testing & Validation or Controls experience  

  • Experience in one or more of the following lines of business data environment: Fraud & Claim, Wholesale, Credit Cards and Shared Services Operations 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead cross-functional project teams through collaboration with multiple levels of management 

  • Understanding of enterprise contact center data, enterprise data lake including but not limited to SSDM, EIW, BMG, and Ecar for transactional business processing. Ability to load data into quality system for control testing. 

  • Prior experience with Voice of customer channel/contract center technology data (IVR, Telephony, Text, Chat, Dialer Call Recording, Quality) data experience  

  • Experience with process automation including crontab, ETL processing, and application ingestion and file formatting requirements 

  • Deep understanding of the Wells Fargo control program 

  • Document of BRD/FSD requirements, data elements, mapping and metrics for traceability/lineage  

  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment while staying focused on business objectives 

Job Expectations: 

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.   

  • Ability to work on site per Wells Fargo's standard operating model in one of the listed locations. 

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$96,600.00 - $188,900.00
