Job Description

Your Mission:

We’re looking for a Senior People Scientist who is passionate about our mission of Money Without Borders to partner with our People team to help drive an exceptional employee experience. You will own our Employee Experience and listening analytics work and drive impact across our employee lifecycle.

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing  People Analytics function and drive actionable insights within a People team that is serious about using data to shape the focus of its work. 

 

Here’s how you’ll be contributing:

  • Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to solve key business questions and hypotheses, employing consulting techniques to prioritize analytical projects effectively according to impact.
  • Co-design, implement & administer Wise’s employee listening strategy with our Employee experience team to capture Wisers feedback across our employee lifecycle 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant on Employee listening, working with our People Partner to drive the adoption and deployment of our employee listening surveys into the business.
  • Deploy Advanced analytics & data science techniques to analyze structured and passive employee listening sources to drive action across our employee lifecycle.
  • Build data science & machine learning models to explore the link between Employee Experience and business outcomes (e.g Customer Experience, Productivity etc).
  • Own our analytics products across Employee Experience working to democratize data while ensuring full compliance with privacy. 
  • Embed analytical thinking and assessment into our Employee experience initiatives so that we are consistently measuring the impact of the work we do
  • Play a role to upskill the analytical capabilities of the People Tribe at scale and can correctly interpret People data from our self-serve dashboards and people analytics products
  • Work across our full people analytics tool stack, building out our data infrastructure, working with APIs and complex data sets.

 

 A bit about you: 

  • You have a track record in scoping, building, and delivering impactful people analytics solutions 
  • You are an excellent communicator, able to tell compelling stories from complex data and drive action from your analysis.
  • You have experience with designing and owning data assets; you can build and maintain complex data sources and can leverage visualisation tools to democratise data.
  • You have stakeholder management skills; you know how to partner with senior stakeholders and work cross functionally.
  • You are proficient with SQL and a scripting language (e.g Python and/or R) and know your way around data pipeline management tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Git, Airflow.
  • You have experience applying advanced statistical methods in the People/Applied Research space (e.g regression, clustering and classification, Hierarchical linear models, natural language processing, structural equation modelling etc.)
  • You have experience applying Machine Learning and AI in the HR/People Space.  
  • You are familiar with survey design, passive listening techniques and research concepts such as reliability and response bias.

Additional Information

  • $145-$185k base which is dependent on various factors.
